NEW PLAYERS: If you are new and you don't have an established quota, then you can not win a specific month until posting 2 scores. Your first 2 scores will be adjusted to get your number correct. You can't have a monthly score higher than any established player for the first 2 months. You will then be eligible to start winning the month "Best Score".
For those of you that are familiar with the quota scoring system, then this will be very easy to follow. Pay attention, as the adjustments are a little different. If you are not familiar with it, then please get with someone who is. It is relatively simple, but you just need to get used to it.
SCORING ON THE COURSE:
Double Boogie or worse - 0 points
Boogie - 1 point
Par - 2 points
Birdie - 4 points
Eagle - 8 points
Hole in One - You owe EVERY member a beer, regardless if they witness it (there will be no real enforcement of this rule, it's optional).
FOR NEWBIES: Just keep your score per hole and after 18 holes add up your total points. It's that easy.
Each person will have their own quota that they must reach. You want to gain positive points per round.
The difference will be in the quota adjustment and quotas will be adjusted per month as the "host" course changes.
ABOVE YOUR QUOTA:
EVEN Through +2 = Your quota will remain the same
+3 Through +5 = Your quota will rise one
+6 Through +8 = Your quota will rise two
+9 Through +11 = Your quota will rise three
+12 or more = Your quota will rise four
BELOW YOUR QUOTA:
EVEN = Your quota will remain the same
-1 Through -3 = Your quota will drop down one
-4 through -6 = Your quota will drop down two
-7 through -9 = Your quota will drop down three
-10 or higher = Your quota will drop down four
EXAMPLE:
MY STARTING QUOTA FOR NOVEMBER: 16
Take a look at the example scorecard below. I ended up with 21 points for the day. If my starting quota for November is a 16, then obviously I would be +5 for the day. Then up above, I showed how the points per round effect your quota. So if my starting quota for November was 16, my December quota would be moved up to a 17. I hope the visual below helps.

CAN I PLAY THE SAME COURSE MORE THAN ONE TIME WITHIN THE MONTH?
Yes, you are more than welcomed to play the "Host" course more than one time per month. For returning players, you DO NOT NEED TO DECLARE YOUR 2nd ROUND BEFORE YOU PLAY. This allows you to play as many times as you wish, without jeopardizing a score you may already posted for the month. If your most current round is lower than any previous round played for the month, there is no need to post the score, as the highest score will hold up.

WHEN SHOULD I POST MY SCORE?
Please post your score just after you play a round. The quicker you post your score online, the quicker I can up date the official scoreboard. Please don't hold your scores.
